July - 18th Just uploaded a few photos out of the hundreds we took on our BIG TRIP - see below. have been poorly all week and lost my voice. A little squeak today now and then. July 8th Well all the planning is done and we are in Bangor for North Wales Wings Wing Ding. Looking to a good weekend andmetingupwithold friends.  Recent weeks have been hectic but worth it. Busy with Social Networking- amazing which sites link in. lots of ideas for articles and nextbook simmering on the backburner.

June 28th:
Just back from our mammoth trip. Re-visited Hautvillers on the Champagne Route in France, before going on to lake Annecy. What a busy place to get around. Our ride into the mountains followed a 'deviation' on to a very wiggly road!!! Views stupendous. Went on to ride above the lake( Mary -in Just Us Two- told us of a good place to go). Andorra was glorious and entering from the Spanish side we saw a different aspect. Explored much more of the Valley of Andorra this time. Mountains awesome and unbelievable. The sheer height of the rocks on the Spanish Border have to be seen to be believed. Then --- on our way back we stayed in versailles and another of Rosie's dreams came true. YES!!! Paris. I made it and better late than never. The view from the top of the Eiffel Tower amazing and the rode on the Seine very satisfying. Lots of photos and film to process. However Rome wasn't built in a day so one thing at a time and theNorth Wales  Wing Ding is creeping up on me.
June:
All systems go as I get all prep for Wing Ding into place before we head off to Franceand Andorra. Follow me on FaceBook and Twitter/RosalieMarsh as I hope to drop tit bits of the discoveries on the way. Had a wonderful day out yesterday in theCotswolds -met up with otherWinger friends. Lots to do this weekend!

May 8th:
A hectic week. Illustrated talk for Wrecsam Arts Festival -'Discovering Europe on a Motorbike' was well attended and went very well. Poked a lot of fun at 'Ned' who took it in good part! Just normal run-of-the-mill married life stuff!! Grandson James     ( who also has a band called 'Your Parade') played in the Senior Strings at the opening Concert for the Wreham Arts Festival. He was in a prime position on the edge of the stage. So proud of him. Off to Ludlow tomorrow to meet up with Centre Wings and some of our Powys members. Sunshine promised. Lots of 'catch-up' to do this coming week on marketing and pulling in promises of gifts for the Grand Raffle in aid of
the Wales Air Ambulance at our North Wales Wings Wing Ding in July.
May:
Now in the last stages of preparation for my Illustrated talk on Wednesday. Then it is all systems go for final preparations for our Wing Ding in July. Our Charity Raffle in aid of Wales Air Ambulance is set to be a mammoth one as everyone has been so generous with gifts. We will also have a collecting Box for for the GWOCGB national Charity-Royal british legion. After contacting them for leaflets they were surprised and pleased for North Wales Wings' support.
April has been a manic month.
Jus US Two was in the New Title Showcase at the London Book Fair again! I was able to travel to London for the day and was amazed at the improvements in the railway system from Wrexhaqm -which is on a regional line and normally takes forever, even with the new line Direct Line to London Marylebone. There was an early connection to Chester and then we zoomed down to London Euston. LBF was brilliant. I met lots of people, authors, booksellers and publishers.
I have been fully focussed on preparing for my talk on 'Discovering Europe on A Motorbike' at the Wrexham Arts Festival on May 5th. Including photos and slides will make it more interesting. I joined a networking group with daughter Joanna (KinchPrint) and have widened my circle of contacts on Twitter and FaceBook.Got a few fairs and events lined up where I hope to meet more people who would like a signed copy of Just US Two.(See Events). Having a preview on BookBuzzr has increased traffic to my website.
March end -Spring  start-
Later this month I heard that my daughter Joanna (KinchPrint.com.) was being interviewed on CalonFM about her new project, editing the Wrexham Hub of Creative Boom - an online magazine. This week we say goodbye to her French work-experience student as she goes back to Dijon.I have also found more distant cousins and connections through facebook. My 15yr old grandson achieved a Distinction in his Grade 5 Violin exam. What will April bring?
March 11th 2010 The sun is shining and the roses are budding. The trip out to Anglesey last week was so mind-blowing in it's beauty that I had to put pen to paper for the Club magazine. Have a germ of an idea for our BIG trip in June!! More later ... Website fReado.com has featured me in 'The story behind the book'.The  BookBuzzr widget  really has driven people to our site.
March 1st 2010- Happy St David's Day.
It has been a busy two months. Very involved with North Wales Wings work and pulling together everything for our big event in the summer. Went to a GWOCGB meeting yesterday - another day out and meeting old friends.Must do some ringing around today about our raffle in summer for the Wales Air Ambulance. Off out and about this week to pick up supplies and donations of prizes. In between I have had gems of new storylines. Ideas keep popping up.
2010 A busy start to the year as I move the marketing forward. Very into Twitter and Facebook and have found more family connections through them. Also found more like-minded people and it keeps me up to date with grandson and his music successes.
Exciting Developments for Just Us Two:Ned and Rosie's Gold Wing Discovery! 2010 promises to be as exciting as 2009 was. After hitting the ground running  February 2009,Rosalie was proud to have Just Us Two featured in the New Title Showcase at the London Book Fair in April. Then, following local media interest and a live interview on BBC Radio Wales -Roy Noble Show, publishers Author House  profiled Rosalie in their July Newsletter - Voice in Print  Go to Media and Reviews
In 2010 Just US Two was again in the New Title Showcase at the London Book Fair where Rosalie met fellow authors and spoke to publishers. Speaking engagements continue with an illustrated talk at the Wrexham Arts Festival in May. Rosalie will be visiting various fairs during the summer where you can obtain your signed copy. Marketing 'Just Us Two' has been a challenge but enjoyable and rewarding. We have been successful in having reviews from the media along with guest appearances on the radio and a full programme of Author Signing events. Sales are going well and steadily increasing.

Hot News!! Through Facebook-I have found lots of cousins I did not know I had. In Ballycroy and America. 2nd and I think some 3rd.Time for bed

August - I have been kept busy with the web site and, as I have taken over the editing of North Wales Wings website I have been kept really, really, busy. Especially as they are totally different platforms so I have had to think hard. At times it hurt! After my last radio slot on Calon Talks Books,
Paul (presenter) said I should do an Audio Book version as when I read out some passages it really brought it alive for him.(He called it a 'celebration of life.) Also some short audio excerpts on the Web. Must seriously think about that.
Early in  August we had a day out in the rare sunshine and went over the hills to the North Wales coast. Pictures in the albulm on the right are taken from the top of the Horseshoe Pass,Llangollen in beautiful North Wales.

Before this we took part in a Charity Fund-raising static display of Gold Wings in Criccieth. Pictures are on the North Wales Wings website www.northwaleswings.co.uk  under the Charity link and in the Gallery.A video is on You Tube -yes,I am kept really busy!  What with 'tweeting' on Twitter and writing on walls on Facebook it is all go. (We always told our children that they shouldn't write on walls and here we all are doing it on social netwroking sites. Confusing!)

July- Ned's family came to stay in Llangollen and wanted to go on the boat ride over the Telford's Froncysyllte Aqueduct high over the Dee Valley which now has World Heritage status. It was raining most of the time( in fact it was a deluge-again)which spoiled the views over the valley but we had a lot of laughs as we remembered our holiday on the canal 36 years ago when our children were young! The picture in the album on the right is not very good.
